Derek is an associate with the Hong Kong Shipping team.

Derek has experience in a wide range of maritime and commercial matters, including charterparty disputes, cargo claims, winding up proceedings, fraud and recovery claims, and commercial litigation. Derek also has experience in transactional and advisory matters including shipbuilding and yacht-building contracts, ship sale and purchase and wreck removal contracts, as well as criminal matters (maritime and environmental liabilities).

Derek is dual-qualified as a solicitor in Hong Kong and England & Wales.
