HFW is one of only five foreign law firms, and the only UK-headquartered international law firm, that has been granted approval to set up a representative office in the Greater Bay Area by the Ministry of Justice of China. We are the first leading UK law firm to establish an office in Shenzhen Qianhai.

The Shenzhen office is HFW's third office in China, after Hong Kong and Shanghai, and its 21st office worldwide.

HFW has five GBA qualified lawyers who can advise on commercial matters in the nine Pearl River Delta municipalities in the GBA.
