Yaolin specialises in shipping, insurance and international trade, with her work experiences in these fields spanning over a decade.

She has extensive experience in dealing with various disputes of charterparties, including unsafe port claims, hire/demurrage claims, cargo damage, bunker disputes etc.

Her experience also extends to marine insurance; in particular, disputes under the policies or subrogated claims against third parties. Yaolin's capability also covers international trade and ship finance.

Prior to joining HFW, Yaolin had worked for a leading Chinese shipping law firm in Shanghai for over eight years, then she worked at an international P&I Club as a claims executive for three years. She has been named in the Legal 500 Asia Pacific Guide 2019 for Shipping in China.
