Salma's practice focuses on insurance litigation, including subrogation/recovery claims, defence work, coverage disputes, civil and commercial litigation, and shipping disputes.

She also advises on a wide range of policy wordings, commercial contracts and regulatory issues.

Salma has completed a masters degree in professional liability insurance and has extensive experience in professionals liabilities insurance including medical malpractice.

In 2012, Salma joined the legal and compliance department of a leading Abu Dhabi based national insurance company. As well as handling litigation, coverage, regulatory and commercial matters, her duties also included participating in the Health Authority of Abu Dhabi's (HAAD) project for the standardisation of the group medical insurance policy.

Salma joined HFW as an Associate in the Dubai office in January 2016.

She is fluent in Arabic, English, French and Italian.

Salma is admitted to the Tunisian Bar Association.

The firm's Dubai office opened in 2006 and has grown significantly over the years.
