  • Advised in relation to 70% of UK offshore wind farms, including the world’s largest offshore wind projects by turbine count and by turbine size. This work has involved us in advising in relation to both contract negotiation and also in relation to disputes, including one where the sum in dispute amounted to US$200 million.
  • Acted in relation to a US$270 million dispute concerning a failure at a major hydroelectric scheme.
  • Represented a multilateral development bank in the secured financing of three separate greenfield wind power projects in India, developed by Tata Power (circa US$10-25 million each).
  • Advised in respect of the AUS$750 million Colgar project, the largest single stage wind farm in the southern hemisphere to date.
  • Advised a finance institution in relation to a wind IPP project which is one of the largest wind farm project ever carried out on the African continent.
  • Advised a leading listed energy company in Thailand in the proposed acquisition and development of 500MW portfolio of wind farm projects in Phu Yen and Gai Lai, Vietnam.
  • Acted for a joint venture between an asset management company based in Thailand and a leading Philippines energy company in the acquisition and development 250MW portfolio of wind farm projects in Quezon, Philippines.
  • Advised on the EPC and O&M contracts for part of the US$2 billion NeuConnect electrical interconnector cable between Germany and the UK.
  • Advised on the procurement strategy for a new US$400 million hydro project in South America.
  • Advising a leading European marine engineering and construction company for the contract for the construction of various aspects off our Taiwanese offshore wind farms.
  • Advised in relation to the largest solar PV and battery energy storage system in Senegal.
