Diana has over 30 years' experience of advising on complex international projects, with a focus on the energy sector. Her experience covers a wide range of issues, including Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) and risk management. She has led HFW's team of lawyers advising a major state energy company for over 14 years. 

Diana has a special interest in digitalisation and is a member of the Legal Roundtable for the National Digital Twin, contributing her expertise on the energy industry and legal issues arising from the digital transformation the industry is currently undergoing.

She is also an enthusiastic advocate of capacity building and has a long track-record of working with CWC School for Energy on developing and delivering training on a wide range of legal issues.

Diana previously worked in industry in the energy sector for 7 years.

Diana was recognised in the Hot 100 of The Lawyer 2015, named Expert in the Energy section of Euromoney's The World’s Leading Lawyers Chosen by Their Peers 2020 (and earlier editions) and Women in Business Law 2020 (and earlier editions) and also appears in the current Best Lawyers Energy and Natural Resources section, as well references in Chambers and Legal 500.

Diana speaks French and chairs the firm's Community Investment Committee. She is a trustee of one of the firm's partner charities, Renewable World.

She is qualified in England and Wales.
