About Jefferson
Jefferson is a Senior Associate in the Singapore Commodities team whose focus is on climate and sustainable finance as well as commodities and derivatives work. Jefferson has advised on the legal and commercial issues relating to the development, structuring and financing of voluntary carbon projects (including nature-based and cookstove projects), including carbon offtake and carbon project services agreements. He has also been involved in work related to futures products for voluntary carbon credits, documentation for the trading of allowances under the UK ETS, security documentation relating to environmental products (such as ACCUs and NZUs) as well other advisory and regulatory matters.
JHe also has experience in leading high-value multi-jurisdictional banking and finance transactions. He has acted for financial institutions as financiers in syndicated and bilateral lending, as well as sale and lease-back transactions in the transportation finance sphere.
Jefferson is admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor in Singapore and a solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales.
