About Farah
Farah is an Associate in the Singapore Commodities team whose focus is on commodities, carbon markets and climate finance. She has worked with both the Commodities and Aerospace teams respectively. In the Commodities team, she has provided advice on legal and commercial matters related to voluntary and compliance carbon markets. Additionally, she has also been responsible for drafting and reviewing sale and purchase agreements relating to carbon offset units.
In the Aerospace team, she has assisted on various high profile and high value insurance litigation in the English courts arising out of the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Farah also has experience in relation to sustainable aviation, including analysing issues relating to sustainable aviation fuels (SAF) and CORSIA.
Prior to joining HFW, Farah was a Judicial Associate in the State Courts (Singapore) where she clerked for judges in civil, commercial, and criminal matters. Farah also previously worked in a leading Singapore law firm, assisting on commercial litigation and employment matters.
Farah is admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor in Singapore, and a solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales.
