Michael’s practice focuses primarily on complex coverage analysis, disputes, and litigation. His experience in complicated coverage matters involves a large range of insurance policies, including commercial general liability, automobile liability, professional services liability, umbrella and excess liability, marine energy, control of well, energy risk, and first-party property. Michael represents domestic and international insurance clients in both state and federal courts throughout the United States, as well as in arbitration and mediation. His experience involves serving as monitoring counsel, coverage counsel, and subrogation counsel for insurance clients, as well as serving as defense counsel on behalf of insureds.

Michael is admitted to practice in all Texas, New York and New Jersey state courts. He is also admitted to practice in the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and United States District Courts for the Southern, Eastern, and Northern Districts of Texas and the District of New Jersey.
