About Louis-Alexis
Louis is a Partner in the Commodities team in Paris. He advises clients on high-stakes disputes, regulatory proceedings, and transactions worldwide. He has represented parties in more than 150 arbitrations, mediations, litigations, regulatory proceedings, and internal and criminal investigations, with a particular focus on natural resources, logistics, and aerospace.
Louis began his career in Houston and New York, specialising in commercial and investment treaty arbitration in the energy and mining industries. He co-authored the leading authority on international mining disputes. He subsequently spent five years at Amazon, gaining firsthand insight into how sophisticated multinationals manage risk and engage with counterparties, stakeholders, and regulators across jurisdictions.
Beyond dispute resolution, Louis advises on complex, multi-jurisdictional corporate and commercial matters, particularly in the supply chain, technology, and industrial sectors. He has developed strong expertise in IT, AI, data, privacy, and cybersecurity.
