About Sammy
Sammy Beedan is a Partner in HFW’s Aerospace team, specialising in dispute resolution and crisis management.
He advises insurers and their insureds, including commercial airlines, GA operators, airports, ground handlers, MROs, manufacturers, and other aviation service providers. Based in Hong Kong, Sammy handles complex aviation losses in the Asia Pacific region, with a particular focus on North, East, and Central Asia. He has supported clients through all stages of a major loss, and regularly advises on commercial disputes, coverage issues, subrogated recoveries, and the drafting and negotiation of contracts.
Before moving to HFW’s Hong Kong office in 2022, Sammy spent more than five years in the firm’s Aerospace team in Singapore. He has also worked in London, Piraeus, Beijing and Ulaanbaatar, and speaks Mandarin, German and Mongolian. He is admitted as a Solicitor in Hong Kong, and England and Wales.
