Summary
HFW's Brexit dialogue continues with an early evening audience combining the judicial, diplomatic and economic perspectives. With a potential one year countdown to the UK's departure from the EU approaching, our panel will discuss the next phase of the Brexit negotiations, drawing on their expert knowledge in order to bring some clarity as to the future outlook. The panel will include The Rt. Hon. Dame Elizabeth Gloster, a Lady Justice of Appeal, Sir Peter Westmacott, former UK Ambassador to the US, France and Turkey and Dr Peter Warburton, Director, Economic Perspectives Limited. Lady Justice Gloster will provide a judicial perspective around enforceability in Europe of English Court Judgments post Brexit. Sir Peter Westmacott will review the UK's future relationship with Europe and the view from the United States. Dr Peter Warburton will comment on the economic outlook between now and the date when the UK leaves the EU including any transition/implementation period.
