About Constance

Constance is a Senior Associate in HFW’s Finance team, based in Paris.

She advises on English law, French law and international aspects of financing transactions, with particular experience in export credit, sovereign and asset financing transactions (notably in the shipping sector). She has also developed significant expertise in sustainability‑linked and green finance. Constance also works on general banking transactions.

Constance graduated in 2016 from Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas, where she earned a master’s degree (M2) in International Business Law and a research master’s degree (M2) in Comparative Law. During this time, she was also a research student at Harvard Law School, preparing a master’s thesis on “International Commercial Arbitration and National Legal Systems“ (“L’arbitrage commercial international face à l’ordre juridique étatique”), a comparative study of American, Swiss, and French laws.

Before joining HFW in May 2024, she spent six years working in the banking and finance department of an international law firm in Paris.

She is fluent in French and English and is a member of the Paris bar.
