HFW Partner Elinor Dautlich appointed Co-Chair of the IBA's Maritime and Transport Law Committee
HFW's London-based Head of Finance Elinor Dautlich will take up the position of Co-Chair of the International Bar Association's (IBA) Maritime and Transport Law Committee, effective January 2017. Elinor is the first woman to be appointed in the position of Chair of this Committee.
The Maritime and Transport Law Committee is one of the oldest committees of the IBA and has more than 650 members worldwide. The Committee provides maritime and land transport law professionals with a platform to meet and discuss the most current legal issues affecting them internationally and has close links with the IBA's Insurance and Aviation Committees.
HFW is delighted Elinor will be continuing to work with the IBA following the previous officer's positions she has held for four years.
Elinor said: "The IBA Maritime Committee has a fantastic membership of first rate lawyers from around the world and I have made many friends.
