Rob has an extensive and varied corporate and commercial practice, specialising in corporate advice, mergers & acquisitions, banking & finance, securities and investment funds. Rob has practised British Virgin Islands (BVI) law for over 27 years and has advised private and public companies, directors and shareholders, banks and financial institutions and hedge funds and investment managers on a range of matters.

Rob was based in the BVI for 14 years and was the Managing Partner of the BVI office of an offshore law firm for over 3 years. As such, Rob has a deep understanding of the offshore corporate and commercial market, the BVI's position as a leading financial centre and the BVI's links to other regions, such as Hong Kong and mainland China and the UAE. More recently, Rob was based in Luxembourg working for an offshore law firm and is currently based in the United Kingdom.

Rob was a Chairman of the BVI Mutual Fund Practitioners’ Association in the 2000's and sat on a number of committees which advised the BVI Government and the BVI Financial Services Commission on the development of BVI legislation and regulation of the financial services market in the BVI.

Rob is qualified in the BVI and in England and Wales (non-practising), and Anguilla (non-practising).
