Offshore Wind Power Seminar

HFW will be hosting a one day seminar on Offshore Wind Power. The seminar, introduced by Max Wieliczko, will provide a ‘cradle to grave’ overview of developments in the procurement of offshore wind and an opportunity for industry thought leadership.

Summary

As Round Three developments are let, new challenges will arise in the industry and we will have speakers presenting on the problems with new design standards, effective management of works in deep water, and the impact of the new legal and regulatory framework which underpins the financial model for these schemes. Technical contractors and specialist insurers will present on how to predict and manage issues that will arise in the next tier of developments.

As well as specialists from HFW's construction and marine teams (HFW Partners, Max Wieliczko, Simon Blows, Robert Blundell and Associate Emilie Bokor-Ingram) external speakers will include Per Aarsleff, Visser & Smit Marine Contracting, AON, London Offshore Consultants and others.
