Natalie joined HFW in September 2017 after qualifying as an English solicitor in London with a shipping law firm for 2 years and subsequently working for a British law firm in Piraeus, as an Associate / Senior Associate in the shipping litigation department, for over 10 years.

Natalie read English and French law at the University of Kent, Canterbury and the Sorbonne University, Paris and obtained an LLB in ‘English and French Law with Honours’. She subsequently obtained a Masters degree (‘Magister Iuris Communis’) in ‘European Comparative Law and International Law’ at the University of Maastricht in the Netherlands.

Natalie specialises in maritime law, with an emphasis on dispute resolution arising from charterparties, bills of lading, sale and purchase contracts, salvage, collisions, groundings, general average and marine insurance contracts. She advises ship owners and their insurers in relation to a range of dry and wet shipping matters, and she has been directly involved in numerous LMAA arbitrations, LOF salvage arbitrations, High Court proceedings and mediations.

Natalie is bilingual (English and Greek), is fluent in French, and has a conversational knowledge of Italian.
