Molly is an Associate in the Construction Group in Melbourne. She has experience across all stages of project development and implementation, advising principals, consultants, contractors and suppliers on contractual and commercial risks, dispute avoidance and dispute resolution on a broad range of construction and engineering projects in Australia and the broader Asia Pacific region.

In the commercial space, Molly has acted for principals, contractors, engineers, project managers, suppliers and joint ventures (large and small) on construction projects including greenfield, brownfield and high-rise developments, operational plants and infrastructure projects in Australia and the Asia Pacific. She also advises on issues that arise during project delivery.

In the disputes space, Molly has acted for large and small businesses, owners corporations and individuals and advised on general non-payment, defect, delay and security of payment claims and disputes in jurisdictions across Australia including Victoria, NSW, Tasmania, Queensland and South Australia.

Some of her experience includes:

• Acting for a principal in the preparation and negotiation of consultancy agreements and construction contracts for a AUD$80 million residential/commercial development in Victoria.
• Acting for a joint venture in the negotiation of a AUD$40 million design & construct (D&C) contract for construction of a ship loader.
• AUD$50 million dispute acting for a global engineer and sub-consultant in defending proceedings brought by the design joint venture on a major infrastructure project as part of an AUD$180 million claim by the project joint venture – ongoing.
• Acting for an engineer in defending a multi-party defect claim brought by the principal in the Federal Court of Australia – ongoing.
