In Song Lihua v Lee Chee Hon [2023] HKCFI 2540, the Hong Kong Court of First Instance (HKCFI) refused enforcement of a Chengdu Arbitration Commission (CAC) award on public policy grounds, as the failure of an arbitrator to give his full attention to the hearing was a "serious irregularity" where justice was not "seen to be done".
