We are delighted to announce HFW has been nominated for Litigation and Dispute Resolution Team of the Year at The British Legal Awards 2016

The British Legal Awards are the leading awards for the UK's thriving business law community acting as a showcase for the achievements of one of the country's most successful sectors. This year's ceremony will take place at Finsbury Square on Thursday 24 November 2016.

HFW's submission this year focused on our work for Grant Thornton UK LLP in relation to the insolvent estate of Boris Berezovsky, a high-profile and multi-faceted case which highlights HFW's legal expertise, innovation and demonstrates the firm's market-leading position. Of note was the teams work in negotiating the first third party funding deal of, not only the portfolio of litigation, but also the ongoing general administration of the insolvent estate as well as a successful application for reverse summary judgment.
