Holman Fenwick Willan elects Pierre-Olivier Leblanc as Partner within the Insurance & Reinsurance department

We are delighted to announce that Pierre-Olivier Leblanc has been elected as Partner. He specialises in litigation, focussing mainly on insurance, industrial risk, and professional liability for large industrial groups and insurance companies.

He advises his clients at the outset of industrial accidents and in domestic and international litigation cases before the courts and in arbitration proceedings. He has particular expertise in the energy, transport and ship building sector. Pierre-Olivier is well versed in maritime, as well as transport law and has been recognised for his expertise in construction law (contentious).

Pierre-Olivier Leblanc graduated with a DESS from Lille (France) in 'Droit de la Mer et des Activités Maritimes' (Maritime Law), obtained a Post-Graduate Diploma in English law and a LLM in International Economic Law from the University of Warwick (England). He joined HFW in 2004 after having worked at the French law firm Bouloy Grellet Godin.

He is now one of the four Partners of the Insurance & Reinsurance department in Paris, together with Olivier Purcell, Guillaume Brajeux and Edouard Taÿ-Pamart. "His understanding of issues and his strong commitment towards his clients, as well as his high technical expertise made his election as a Partner an obvious choice. Pierre-Olivier is an asset for the Paris office" declared Olivier Purcell.

The Insurance & Reinsurance department has experienced a strong growth over the last few years and accounts for 12 lawyers in Paris and almost 60 lawyers worldwide.
