Guy handles, and has considerable experience in dealing with, all aspects of damages in Admiralty claims, particularly collisions. He also assists in General Average matters and practical aspects of chartering and sale & purchase disagreements. Guy's aim in resolving disputes is to identify the key issues and opportunities from the client's perspective, and to keep a careful watch on the commercial aspects, so as to give clients good value for money.

Guy joined HFW in 1998 after 18 years as a shipbroker. During that time he concluded numerous deals for the sale & purchase and charter of a wide range of vessels. Guy has been based in London, Hong Kong and Geneva. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers.
