Lennon is a Senior Associate in HFW Singapore. He specialises in providing insurance-focused advice to clients having a global exposure on risks and claims. He regularly advises airlines, (re)insurers, shipping and transport-related companies on both liability defence as well as on issues of insurance policy coverage. He has acted/advised on claims / losses all over the world including Singapore, USA, China, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Brazil, France, Japan etc.
He has a proven track record of successfully handling complex cases. Notable highlights include guiding insurers through intricate issues such as trade credit insurance / lender’s risk, cargo contamination, design defects, damage to offshore oil rigs and subsea cable insulation. His extensive experience also extends to advising on policy matters related to civil unrest, infectious diseases/business interruption claims arising from the Covid-19 pandemic, and Bankers Blanket Bond in cases of employee fraud.
He has also advised on various matters which involve elements of fraud such as suspicious grounding and sinking of vessels, and fraudulent investment schemes across multiple jurisdictions.
