About Nancy
Nancy Chen is an Associate in HFW’s Corporate and Commercial team, working with clients across the firm’s Shanghai, Hong Kong and BVI offices. She advises on corporate and cross‑border transactional work for companies across a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, technology, medical devices, automotive, logistics and retail. Her work includes mergers and acquisitions, investment structures and wider corporate matters, including work linked to the shipping and logistics sectors. She also advises on regulatory requirements relevant to clients in Asia Pacific and other major jurisdictions, covering employment, competition, data governance and matters relating to market entry.
Working across civil law and common law systems, she helps clients understand cross‑border legal risks and regulatory obligations, offering clear and practical advice aligned with their commercial objectives. Nancy is admitted to practise in Australia, is qualified (non‑practising) in China, and works in both Chinese and English.
