About Jean-Baptiste
With close to 15 years of practice, Jean-Baptiste specialises in commercial litigation and transport law with a specific focus on aviation liability.
He acts in domestic as well as multi-jurisdictional international matters notably in French-speaking African countries and Asia, advising domestic and international airlines, insurers and other aerospace entities.
His practice covers a wide range of matters, such as multi-jurisdiction major catastrophe losses (and as such has been involved in multiple high-profile matters related to aviation disasters over the last decade), product liability, aviation insurance, personal injuries, cargo matters and passenger claims. He also has experience of General Aviation matters and advises on non-contentious aspects and matters related to travel law, consumer law and commercial law. Jean-Baptiste is also frequently involved in drafting contracts for French and foreign clients (GTC, SLA, ad hoc contracts).
Jean-Baptiste assists road transportation and logistics players with a focus on last mile transportation, in litigation matters. His expertise also covers the launch/scale-up of activities, drafting and reviewing of contracts, audit and regulatory advice.

Jean-Baptiste regularly publishes in various legal journals and is the author or contributor of several books. He is the author of a book on the insurance and regulatory issues relating to civil drones and has also co-authored a ‘liber amicorum’ book on general transport law. He is a member of the French Air and Space Law Association.
Jean-Baptiste is a French native and speaks fluent English. He is qualified in Paris.
