About Alexander

Alexander is an Associate in HFW’s international construction team, based in London.

He originally trained in Sydney, New South Wales (admitted in December 2016) at a national law firm working in their Infrastructure & Projects team before moving to London in late 2019.

Alexander has primarily worked for main contractors and subcontractors in adjudications and also in several pieces of TCC litigation. Alexander has experience with non-contentious matters including drafting, amending and negotiating FIDIC, NEC, JCT and bespoke contracts.

Experience list 

  • Acting for a trade contractor in complex, high-value multi-party dispute in the TCC relating to alleged defects in a luxury residential development.
  • Acting for main contractors and subcontractors in various adjudications the subject matter of which included claims for variations, extensions of time and loss and expense.
