For the first time, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), applied the Jones Act to a floating offshore wind turbine that will operate in the U.S. territorial sea holding that a combination of coastwise qualified and foreign-flagged vessels could be used to install a floating wind turbine without violating the Jones Act.
