


In its 6th edition, HFW’s new report, “Maritime Arbitration in Numbers: Charting the Leaders and Challengers in Global Maritime Arbitration — London Leads, Asia Surges, and New Hubs Emerge” provides a high-level analysis of global maritime arbitration activity, based on data either published by the source itself or provided to HFW upon request.
This year’s edition is our most comprehensive yet, with 19 responses from 29 arbitral bodies across 18 jurisdictions. The report explores global trends in maritime arbitration and considers whether London retains its leading position amid the rise of alternative venues.
Since 2018, HFW has monitored and analysed maritime arbitration activity across key arbitral bodies. This latest edition reviews data from the past two years, highlighting significant trends and jurisdictional preferences that are shaping the current maritime arbitration landscape.Â
