Zohar is a Partner in HFW’s Aerospace team, with particular expertise in finance and leasing transactions, complex commercial contracts and regulatory matters.

Zohar advises on fleet management issues, including aircraft procurement, purchase and disposal, operating leases, sub-leases, lease novations, and end-of-lease returns. His aviation finance experience spans sale and leaseback transactions, debt (including ECA backed) financing, hire purchase agreements, receivables financing, and securitisation.

He also has extensive experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements for the aviation industry, covering buyer’s furnished equipment, fuel, catering, conversion and maintenance services, and capacity trading arrangements such as code sharing, franchise, charter, and wet lease agreements. In addition, Zohar advises on travel law issues and heads HFW’s travel law team.

Zohar is a is a former General Counsel – Aviation for a major travel and airline group and is a CEDR Accredited Mediator.
