About Rocio

Rocio Pelaez is an Associate (Argentinian qualified) in HFW’s Aerospace team and a member of the firm’s Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) practice.

She advises insurers, reinsurers and aviation industry participants on aviation-related disputes, claims and investigations across Latin America and the Caribbean. Her work includes aircraft accidents, liability claims and cross-border disputes involving multiple jurisdictions throughout the region.

Rocio regularly coordinates with clients, brokers, experts and local counsel in the management of aviation matters across Latin America and the Caribbean, helping clients navigate differing legal and procedural frameworks throughout the region.

Prior to joining HFW, Rocio practised criminal defence in Argentina for nine years, advising on complex investigations and contentious proceedings. This background provides a valuable perspective in her work on complex aviation disputes and investigations.
