About Remi

Remi in an associate in the Shipping Litigation team in London. He has experience in Admiralty and Crisis Management, as well as in dry shipping matters. He has acted for owners, charterers, P&I clubs, ship managers and war risk insurers on disputes arising from charterparties, bills of lading, insurance policies, collisions and salvage. He also has also worked on various disputes as part of the Complex Environments team all the way through to distressed asset sales. The majority of Remi’s work involves multi-jurisdictional litigation and arbitration.

As part of his training, Remi undertook a six-month international secondment to the HFW Singapore office, where he was involved in a wide range of shipping disputes. He also spent time in the firm’s Ship Finance team acting on the sale of vessels declared as constructive total losses following the war in Ukraine. He also spent time in the Commodities department, where he was involved in multiple charterparty and sale of goods disputes.

Remi is qualified in England and Wales.
