About Sarah

Sarah is a Partner in HFW’s Commodities team based in London.

She specialises in international commodity trade and shipping, advising on trade structures, contract drafting, financing, and dispute resolution. Her expertise spans both physical and derivative commodity contracts, with a focus on long-term supply projects, including pre-pay, off-take, and term supply agreements, as well as operational trading issues and standard form documentation. She also has particular expertise in energy commodities and natural resources, especially base and precious metals.

Sarah has extensive experience acting in litigation before the Commercial Court in London and in arbitrations under LCIA, UNCITRAL, ICC, and ad hoc rules.

She is recognised in Chambers UK and Legal 500 for her work in coal, iron ore, and metals disputes, and for her specialist knowledge in repo work.

Sarah is qualified in England and Wales.
