HFW extends energy capability with Partner hire

Leading international law firm Holman Fenwick Willan (HFW) is delighted to announce that Jonathan Martin has joined the firm as a Partner, effective 28 July 2014.

Jonathan, who will be based in the firm’s London office, is an energy lawyer specialising in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance transactions and other corporate and commercial arrangements in the energy and natural resources sector. He has extensive experience in acquisitions and disposals, joint ventures and strategic partnerships, debt and equity capital markets, stock exchange listings, and corporate reorganisations and restructurings.

Jonathan has a particular focus in the upstream oil and gas sector, where his experience includes negotiating farm-ins, joint operating agreements, production sharing agreements and other commercial contracts. His practice is predominantly cross-border and he represents international clients around the world, including exploration and production companies, oilfield services companies and financial institutions.

Jonathan joins the firm from Fasken Martineau.
