Gareth joined HFW's aerospace team in 2019 as our first dedicated flight delay and cancelation Claims Manager. He joins from Thomas Cook Airlines UK and has more than 14 years of operational airline experience. This includes crew planning and flight operations.

While at Thomas Cook, Gareth was part of the legal team and was responsible for handling the airline's EU261 related issues and other customer claims including personal injury.

With over 7 years' experience of customer claims handling including project management, Gareth has sound experience advising on issues surrounding EU261 including jurisdiction and applicable law as well as investigating personal injury claims and provision of evidence to fulfil litigation requirements.

Gareth also specialises in testing and rolling out case management systems to support legal claims.
