About Colin
Colin is an Associate in HFW’s Commodities team. He primarily advises trading companies, utilities and financial institutions on regulatory and transactional cases.
His expertise includes advising on frameworks relevant to physical and financial/derivative commodity markets, such as CBAM, EMIR, the ETS, the EUMR, FSMA, MAR, MiFID II, REACH and REMIT. His experience covers the drafting and negotiation of agreements, including in relation to ISDA and EFET documentation, corporate guarantees and sale contracts. He has also acted in international arbitrations under various institutional rules.
Colin has completed a secondment at a major national energy company based in the Middle East, and is qualified in England and Wales.
