About Vanessa
Vanessa is an associate in the Employment team in the Sydney office with broad experience across the full spectrum of employment law, with a particular focus on day-to-day advisory matters for employers.
This experience includes performance management, disciplinary action and termination, injured employees and absence management, employment contracts and policies, employee entitlements, redundancies, independent contractors, work health & safety, discrimination, workplace bullying and sexual harassment, modern award and enterprise agreement interpretation, and restraint of trade.
Vanessa has also assisted employers in defending unfair dismissal claims, general protection claims and discrimination claims. By leveraging prior experience in the Human Resources industry and in an in-house environment, Vanessa understands the business operational challenges that employers face on a daily basis and aims to provide practical and commercial advice, while being sensitive to the needs of each business.
Vanessa also has experience in assisting individual clients, particularly those who are the subject of misconduct allegations in relation to bullying and sexual harassment.
