About Sinyee
Sinyee is a Legal Director in our global Insurance / Reinsurance group.
She has over a decade of experience advising clients on insurance, construction, and commercial disputes. Sinyee has acted for clients on claims across various industries (such as engineering/construction, hospitality, energy/power, pharmaceuticals, real estate, oil and gas, and commodity trading), as well as across multiple lines of businesses (including property and casualty, financial lines and credit insurance).
For her contentious experience, she has strong credentials in international commercial arbitration. She has advised on proceedings under major arbitration rules (including the ICC, SIAC and UNCITRAL rules). From time to time, she also advises on international commercial litigation.
In addition to her claims handling and dispute resolution experience, Sinyee advises financial institutions and insurance companies on regulatory matters and the development of insurance products in the region.
Sinyee is qualified in New York, Singapore, England & Wales and Western Australia. She has practised in Asia Pacific, America and the Middle East.
Sinyee is bilingual in English and Mandarin.
