Sanel is an Associate in HFW’s BVI team.
He regularly works on complex cross-border and high-value disputes and matters, with particular experience in involving insolvency procedure, fraud, and fiduciary duties.
Sanel’s notable recent work includes acting in an ongoing USD 240 million dispute between a major bank and a high net worth individual, including an appeal to the BVI Court of Appeal, and debt recovery proceedings against a high-profile BVI natural resources company in a commodities-related fraud matter.
He is dual-qualified in England and the BVI, having transitioned from practice at the Bar of England and Wales in 2014.
