Rebekah Halkett

About Rebekah

Rebekah is an associate in HFW’s London office. She specialises in international commercial disputes, with a focus on wet and dry shipping matters. Rebekah has experience acting for owners, charterers, managers, marine contractors, underwriters and P&I Clubs on disputes arising from charterparties, bills of lading, shipbuilding, collisions, groundings and fires/explosions. Her work often involves multi-jurisdictional litigation and arbitration.

During her training, Rebekah spent time in HFW’s insurance litigation team, where she was involved on a range of contentious matters including marine, offshore and energy re/insurance disputes; and the firm’s general commercial litigation group, working on fraud and corporate insolvency claims. She also spent six months working with HFW’s Abu Dhabi office.

Rebekah is qualified in England and Wales.
