Her focus on China in-bound investment has positioned her as an advisor for SOEs and listed entities. Kayla’s specialisation lies in helping clients understand Australia’s foreign investment landscape and ensuring a smooth pathway to securing necessary approvals.

Kayla distinguishes herself through her expertise in navigating the intricacies of the Foreign Investment Review Board (FIRB). With a track record of securing successful FIRB approvals, she has an in-depth understanding of the complexities within the FIRB regime. Utilising her background in transaction management, Kayla contributes strong project management skills.

Some of Kayla’s notable achievements include advising on significant transactions such as China Hanking’s $37.5 million takeover of ASX-listed Primary Gold Limited. Her involvement in overseeing a cross-border transaction valued at $135 million for a UK client highlights her proficiency in stakeholder management and navigating the complexities of the international landscape.
