About Jennifer
Jennifer is a Partner based in Hong Kong. She specialises in technology, commercial and regulatory disputes, advising technology companies, financial institutions, telecommunications providers and multinational corporates on complex disputes in Hong Kong Court, international arbitration, regulatory investigations and data protection and cybersecurity matters.
Jennifer’s practice covers a broad range of technology-related and commercial disputes, including matters involving software/hardware delivery, software implementation and digital transformation projects, artificial intelligence, blockchain, intellectual property, shareholder and boardroom disputes, partnerships and joint ventures, and supply chain liability issues. She also advises clients on data protection, privacy and cybersecurity matters, including regulatory compliance, cross-border data transfers, misuse of confidential information and cyber incident response.
She has extensive experience acting on complex cross-border disputes and data and cyber matters, and is particularly recognised for her know-how on technology and regulator sentiments across Asia Pacific. Jennifer also advises clients on cryptocurrency-related disputes involving investments, fraud, liquidation, margin calls and exchange listing issues.
Jennifer is admitted to practise in Hong Kong and England & Wales. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators East Asia Branch Committee and has sat as sole arbitrator in HKIAC and SIAC proceedings. Jennifer has also worked in-house and provides a commercial and practical approach to legal issues when it intersects with technology, data and cyber.
