About Henry
Henry is an Associate in our Shipping Litigation team in Piraeus. He advises on dry shipping disputes, cargo claims and admiralty matters, with particular experience in charterparty disputes, marine casualties and claims under bills of lading.
Henry acts for shipowners, charterers, P&I Clubs and brokers, with a focus on the Greek, Middle Eastern and London markets. Henry has significant experience, including cases involving off-hire, unsafe ports, cargo claims, unpaid freight and hire, liens, arrests, and injunctions. He gives clear, practical advice, aimed at resolving disputes efficiently.
Before joining private practice, Henry worked at a publicly listed shipbroker in London and later in the legal department of a shipowner with a diversified tanker and bulk carrier fleet. He is qualified in England and Wales and has worked in Greece, the Middle East and the UK. Henry also delivers presentations and legal training to shipping companies in Athens and London.
