About Guillaume

Guillaume is a Partner in Shipping, advising clients in dispute resolution arising from charterparties, bills of lading, shipbuilding, collisions, fire and explosion, salvage, general average, groundings, total loss, towage, offshore and limitation. He also acts for insurance/reinsurance companies in industrial risks in particular and is specialised in proceedings resulting from major industrial catastrophes. 

Guillaume has worked on several high profile cases, advising clients in Shipping, in the context of important shipwrecks, and Insurance, notably for one of the biggest Covid-19 claims and litigation cases before French courts in recent years. 

Guillaume is a member of several Shipping and Insurance committees: the Institute of International Transport Law (IDIT) (Past-President), the French Maritime Law Association (AFDM) (past member of Executive Committee), the Association for Risk Management and Insurance in Business (AMRAE), the French Maritime Cluster (CMF), the International Union of Lawyers and the IVR. 

Guillaume speaks French and English fluently.
