Michael specialises in transportation law, in particular shipping law. He advises and represents clients in the maritime and energy sectors before state and arbitral jurisdictions, particularly related to casualties and international commercial disputes with complex cross-border issues. Michael’s expertise includes handling proceedings and advising on projects in North and West Francophone Africa.

Michael also regularly represents clients before the criminal courts, particularly in transport and white-collar crime matters.

Michael is fluent in French, English, Arabic and Slovak.
