Finance
- Advised a Commodities Trading House on participating in and financing the UK’s first lithium refinery project.
- Advised a government-backed Commodities Trader on its participation in a US$1b Syndicated Facility.
- Advised a Commodities Trading House on and independently ran a US$210m Financing and Prepayment transaction spanning 5 jurisdictions, and assisted in drafting the Facility, Prepayment, and Assignment Agreements and Security Documents.
- Advised an Investment Fund on and independently ran a Inventory Financing transaction spanning 3 jurisdictions.
Corporate and Commercial
- Advised and assisted on the merger of North P&I and Standard Club to create a new global marine insurer and one of the largest providers of mutual cover in the maritime industries.
- Assisted partners and advised clients on the novation of employment contracts and assets on a US$600 million automobile global M&A deal spanning 33 jurisdictions.
- Advised and assisted on the acquisition of specialist insurance broker Guest Krieger by PIB Group.
- Assisted partners in drafting and reviewing escrow, shareholder, and sale & purchase agreements in Aerospace, Insolvency, Shipping and general corporate matters.
Regulatory work
- Advised multiple clients on the financial and insurance regulatory framework in the UK and assisted them to find practical solutions to launch financial and insurance products in the UK.
Disputes
- Drafted submissions presented in the High Court of Singapore for Banking and Shipping cases.
- Assisted partners as 2nd Chair for Real-Estate, Fraud, and Commercial Litigation matters in the Singapore courts.
