About Eleanor
Eleanor is an Associate in HFW’s Shipping team in London.
She specialises in international commercial dispute resolution, with a focus on advising clients in the shipping and marine insurance sectors. She acts for ship owners, charterers, insurers and ports involved in marine casualties (groundings, collisions, fires etc.) and disputes arising from charterparties, bills of lading and sales contracts. Her work involves complex multi-jurisdictional litigation and arbitration.
Eleanor has spent time in HFW’s Paris and Hong Kong offices where she also worked on commodities and commercial litigation matters, and she has also been seconded to an IG P&I Club.
Prior to joining HFW, Eleanor spent four years working in-house at an international investment bank in their London and Hong Kong offices.
Eleanor is a qualified lawyer in England and Wales, and France. Eleanor is fluent in French.
