About Carolyn

Carolyn is a highly regarded legal practitioner in Australia’s property development sector with over 30 years of experience.

Her practice focuses on real estate development, investment and finance, in particular corporate structuring and land titling creation, foreign investment and private M&A.

Carolyn advises developers and owners on mixed use real estate projects, agribusiness investments, social infrastructure projects, transport oriented development the structuring of new town centres.

Carolyn has held senior leadership roles at HFW including the global head of HFW’s Corporate & Commercial group, a member of HFW’s global management Board and the Diversity & Inclusion representative on that Board. Carolyn is a former national Board member of the Property Council of Australia (2007-2013). She is recognised in Legal 500, Doyles Guide, Best Lawyers and the Australasian Lawyer Elite Women list 2021.

Carolyn is qualified in NSW and Australia and is a registered foreign lawyer in England and Wales.
