About Angus

Angus Paterson is a senior associate based in our Perth office. He specialises in resolving complex commercial and regulatory disputes for clients in the mining, energy, and commercial property sectors.

Angus has experience advising clients on claims involving breach of contract, misleading and deceptive conduct, and breaches of the Corporations Act. He has managed litigation in the Supreme Court of Western Australia and Federal Court of Australia, while his mining experience includes managing tenement disputes in the Warden’s Court of Western Australia. Angus regularly acts for landlords in respect of commercial property disputes, and creditors in respect of both corporate insolvency and bankruptcy matters. Having seconded to INPEX, Angus understands what drives in-house decisionmakers.
