About Angela

Angela specialises in insurance and reinsurance coverage disputes and subrogation claims. She has particular experience in claims involving property damage, business interruption, construction (CAR), public and product liability. Her experience also extends to the energy and marine sectors.

Angela’s work is usually international and cross-border, involving different legal systems across the world. She has a wide range of experience in ADR, including mediation and arbitration.

Recent work includes advising on highly technical claims involving:

• damage/defects issues in construction claims;

• large fires;

• large floods;

• large hydropower losses;

• and more recently she has been heavily involved in the FCA Business Interruption Test Case, ultimately resulting in the Supreme Court decision in January 2021.
