About Alistair

Alistair is a Partner in the Corporate and Commercial team, he heads the Energy, Ports & Terminals, and Projects groups, focusing on complex projects globally.

He specialises in major infrastructure projects, including oil and gas, with a particular focus on LNG infrastructure as well as ports and terminals (concessions and licences, port development, management and operating contracts as well as user agreements, joint ventures, acquisitions, and disposals).

Alistair’s expertise in the oil and gas sector covers shoreside and offshore infrastructure facilities, with a particular focus on FSOs, FPSOs, FSRUs, and FLNG installations. The work includes joint ventures, FEED and EPC contracts, consortia agreements, charters, operation and maintenance contracts as well as M&A transactions in this sector.

Alistair joined the firm in 1989 and spent five years in the firm’s Singapore office, where he focused on ports & terminals projects throughout Asia Pacific as well as maritime and oil and gas transactions including LNG chartering and infrastructure.

Based in London, Alistair advises a broad range of international clients, including private investors, operators, contractors, and government entities across a range of jurisdictions, including Africa, the Middle East, Europe, Asia Pacific, India, and the Americas.
